ADA compliance work gets overlooked until it becomes a problem. Whether it's a liability issue, a code violation, or just a surface that's become unsafe over time - getting it done right the first time matters a lot more than most people realize.

This is a large-scale flatwork pour we're working through in Napa. The site involves a wide, sloped concrete approach - exactly the kind of area where proper grading and surface prep are non-negotiable. ADA-compliant slopes have to hit specific grade requirements. Too steep, and it fails inspection. Too uneven, and it becomes a safety hazard. We handle all of that in the site prep phase before a single yard of concrete goes down.

Fresh concrete is still curing here, held in place with wood forms along the edges to keep everything clean and square. That attention to forming and formwork is what separates a surface that holds up for decades from one that cracks, shifts, or settles unevenly within a few years. We don't cut corners on the foundation work because that's where the whole job lives or dies.

ADA upgrades done well aren't just about checking a box. They make a real difference for the people who use that space every day - whether it's a wheelchair user, someone with a walker, or just a person who doesn't want to trip on a crumbling edge. That's the kind of work we're proud to put our name on.
